Man killed in struck-by

A man was killed when he was struck by a tree while cutting wood May 30, 2024, in Laytonville, Calif. Because of the rough terrain in the area, rescuers carried the man to a landing area where an air ambulance was waiting, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Mendocino County News report.
