A man was killed in a struck-by June 25, 2024, in Grant County, Oregon. Garland Weissenfluh, 58, of Mt. Vernon, Ore., was using a come-along winch to pull a tree that was being cut when he was struck by a portion of the tree top. He was transported to the hospital, where he later died, according to a Elkhorn Media Group report.
