A climber was apparently electrocuted while trimming a palm February 12, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Antonio Fuentes, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene after firefighters recovered his body from 25 feet up in the palm. It was not clear if he was a professional tree worker. While electrocution was the likely cause, the death is under investigation, according to a Las Vegas Review-Journal report.
