Worker impaled by fence after fall from ladder

A tree trimmer was injured when he fell from a ladder and was impaled by a fence August 8, 2023, in Lakeside, California. Firefighters with the Lakeside Fire Protection District were able to remove a section of the fence and transport the man to the hospital, where the fence post was removed surgically, according to a fireengineering.com report.
