Climber found dead in tree

A climber who had apparently been performing tree work was found unresponsive in a tree August 24, 2022, in Boulder Creek, California. Jorge Soria Flores, 47, of Greenfield, Calif., was later pronounced dead.

Boulder Creek Fire Department was called shortly after noon for an unresponsive man in the tree.

There were no details available about the circumstances surrounding the apparently work-related accident or final cause of death, according to a Santa Cruz Sentinel report.
