City worker killed in struck-by

An employee with the Norman, Oklahoma, public works department was killed on the job January 9, 2023, in Norman, Okla., when a tree he was cutting hit him. Harold Parker, 57, and three other public-works employees were removing trees that had recently been marked for removal. The cut tree that struck Parker also struck a park sign, an indication it might not have fallen in the intended direction, according to a
