Congressman injured in fall from ladder at his home

A man fell from a ladder while trimming trees at his home in Sarasota, Florida, January 19, 2023. The man, Florida congressman Greg Stoef, 44, of Sarasota, was admitted to the intensive-care unit with severe but non-life-threatening injuries. Stoef fell approximately 25 feet when he was knocked off the ladder, according to a Miami Herald report.
