Worker killed by electrical contact

A worker was killed when he made contact with a power line September 23, 2023, in Port Lucie, Florida. Wilson Lopez, 18, of Stuart, Fla., was cutting a tree on a residential job site when the incident occurred, according to a tcpalm.com report. Lopez was transported to the hospital, where he died, according to the report.
