Drone aids rescue of climber from tree

A worker was rescued from a tree May 31, 2024, in Kansas City, Mo. He was climbing with spikes and a rope system, but lost control of the rope and dropped it when he was 65 feet up. The Kansas City Fire Department sent a new rope and harness to the man via drone, and he was able to secure himself and climb down, according to a The Kansas City Star report.
