Worker receives electric shock

A worker received a major electric shock May 23, 2024, in Hunter, N.Y. The boom of a bucket truck made contact with a power line, which then broke. The worker standing on the ground was shocked. He was treated at the scene and later transported to a hospital, where he was expected to be discharged, according to a WNYT report.
