Lift operator injured by falling limb

An aerial-lift operator was struck by a limb and knocked unconscious while doing tree work at a residence June 3, 2022, in Evansville, Indiana.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, was still in the platform of the lift 30 feet off the ground when emergency crews arrived at the home.

Multiple crews, including the Evansville Fire Department, CenterPoint Energy and AMR (American Medical Response), responded to assist in retrieving the man from the lift.
