Worker sues after struck-by

Tree worker Rhys Hund filed a lawsuit in Madison County, Illinois, against his employer, Daniel Linck, dba Linck & Log, and Brian Linck, citing negligence after being struck and injured on the job, according to a Madison-St. Clair Record report.

According to the lawsuit, Hund was employed by the defendants to cut down trees in Pinckneyville, Ill., November 9, 2022, when a tree fell on him, causing him serious injury. Hund alleges the defendants failed to properly provide oversight, failed to properly maintain equipment and failed to provide proper employee training, which, according to the claim, created a dangerous work environment.
