Tree care company owner dies in struck-by

The owner of a tree care company died in a struck-by while cutting trees on a business property October 28, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan. Jason Gempel, 51, of Saginaw, was clearing trees with an employee when he was struck by a felled tree. He later died from his injuries, according to an ABC 12 News report.
